H&H Pools was founded by Josh Hart, Chad Harris, and Lisa Harris. The inspiration for the company came from Josh Hart, who, along with Chad, worked at Pool Tron Inc. starting around 2009. Their friendship and shared vision led them to start H&H Pools, initially working long hours after their day jobs, often working 12-14 hour days. Despite skepticism from others, they persisted, driven by their passion for creating beautiful pools.
In the early days, Chad and Josh managed the business without any employees, relying on Lisa’s help with administrative tasks. A significant milestone was the successful completion of their first major project, a concrete inground pool in Highland, IL. Despite being only two employees, they completed the 20×40 pool with over 2,000 square feet of stamped concrete pool decking in just 30 working days, marking the beginning of their success.
Since its inception, H&H Pools has grown significantly, now boasting a team of 10 full-time employees and two part-time employees. Their service maintenance department caters to approximately 20 pools weekly, handling the opening and closing of around 60 pools annually. Notable achievements include expanding their fleet to eight vehicles, acquiring necessary equipment like two skid steers, an excavator, and essential pool equipment, and consistently delivering high-quality backyard renovations. They have been in business for over five years, showcasing their resilience and dedication to excellence.
